Kim has been organizing many community vegan events to share her passion about vegan lifestyle and Grand Rapids Veg Fest is one of her biggest projects. When she is not working for GR Veg Fest, she either cooks yummy vegan foods, plays with her dogs, or plans other awesome events.

My name is Stephanie. I love pit bulls, spicy food, and tap dancing. I am happy to be involved in GR VegFest in order to raise awareness about the health, social, and environmental benefits of being vegan!
After years of suffering with allergies, being sick all the time, weight issues, and horrible migraines, RB decided she had had enough and went plant based cold tufurky! As in ‘I’m a Vegan Mother Clucker!’ as Liz says! And she hasn’t looked back. People started noticing the health changes and two nieces approached asking her to mentor them long distance. SEW they started a blog posting recipes, tips and ideas to share. Others followed. Life is SEW good being plant based!
I live on the west side of GR with my husband Chris and our two dogs Charlie and Zeus. After learning about factory farming, including the dairy industry, and its adverse effects on the environment and our health, I wanted to reduce the amount of suffering I contribute to the world as much as I can, which led me to pursue a vegan lifestyle. I’m really glad I found a group that is so positive, encouraging, and fun!
My name is Liz. I love to cook and paint, and I treat my cat as though it were my child. I care a great deal about where food comes from, and food justice. I believe that we have a chance three times a day (plus snacks) to make the world better, if even in a small way. I am very happy to have an opportunity through Plant Based Solutions and Veg Fest to combine my passions for sustainable food and illustration.
